Born in Siargao Island, Josie Tokong Prendergast is a free surfer of Filipino and Australian heritage. Her family had moved to Australia when she was 4 years old as she continued her love for surfing there.
She splits her time between Australia and the Philippines through out the year.
The duality of her ancestry and her upbringing has forged a strong love and connection to the ocean, family and life itself and we welcome her to the Pearls project.
